In\u00a0<b>A Perfect Trade<\/b>, Jenny makes her signature dessert &#8212; her special version of an English dessert called <em>Eton Mess<\/em> (which she picked up from reading her beloved, imported celebrity magazines!).<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">Several readers have asked if I&#8217;ll post the recipe for Jenny&#8217;s <em>Eton Mess<\/em>, so here it is!<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">NB: If you don\u2019t have chocolate-covered strawberries, you can use fresh strawberries and add broken up pieces of chocolate or chocolate sauce to the mix.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">1lb of fresh, chocolate-covered or chocolate-dipped strawberries, hulled and cut into quarters<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">1 pint of double cream<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">2 large or 4 small meringues, broken<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">1 tbsp grated chocolate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">To Make:<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">Get a large glass bowl or serving dish.
