It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like …

Not quite yet!! Not until December 1st, in our house anyway. But, we will be going to pick out our tree at the weekend and we plan to have the decorations up in good time.

Autumn is definitely with us. Even though Bonfire Night (Nov 5th) has been and gone, the air smells like November. The weather is turning colder and the leaves have pretty much all fallen. It’s another beautiful, crisp, sunny day here in Cambridge (after some pretty yucky grey days), but the heating is on and the cats are curled up under the radiators.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American readers. Wishing you and yours a wonderful holiday. And for all my readers around the world, I’m very thankful for you!

If you’d like a quick treat, for those precious few moments amid the holiday hubbub, check out my newest Thanksgiving-themed NJ Ice Cats short story, over in the For Readers section, A Perfect Favor (or, if you prefer the English spelling, A Perfect Favour! – Yes, a true Two Nations Divided!), which you can download for free.

I’ve also put up my other two Thanksgiving-themed short stories – A Perfect Picnic and A Perfect Reunion – so that’s 3 FREE short stories to treat yourself to. But be quick – they’ll only be around for a couple of weeks.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American readers! And happy November 23rd to all my readers, wherever you are. I’m very thankful for your support and for your love for my NJ Ice Cats!

As a thank you, I’m giving you my latest Thanksgiving-themed NJ Ice Cats’ short story – A Perfect Favor (or, if you prefer English spelling, A Perfect Favour!) for FREE for the next couple of weeks.

Meet the newest Ice Cat, Cooper ‘Coop’ Johansen!

Lights, Camera … Turkey!

Cooper ‘Coop’ Johansen doesn’t expect his fresh start with his new team to entail being Mr. November for the Ice Cats’ charity calendar. Food photographer Becca Emory’s Thanksgiving shoot could win her a contract that will stabilise her business. But her best friend’s in a jam and needs her to produce a calendar page for the Ice Cats asap. Combining the jobs should be a piece of cake. After all, how much trouble can a shirtless hockey player and three kittens be?

But that’s not all, you can also download my other Thanksgiving-themed short stories, A Perfect Picnic and A Perfect Reunion for FREE too!

No turkey, no pies and no power!

When a Thanksgiving snow storm knocks out the electricity, Ice Cats’ forward, Will Hardacre, and his sexy, but workaholic neighbour, Amelia Norris, are stranded on the 45th floor of their apartment building. A traditional festive feast is out; the best they can do is pool the sparse contents of their kitchen cupboards. Could a candlelit picnic help them discover that they have more in common than their address?

A day of thanksgiving?

When Ice Cats’ defenseman, Troy Davidson, sees his ex-fiancé at his parents’ Thanksgiving party, he’s determined to make things right. He screwed up five years ago, when he ditched their engagement party to elope with a movie star. Now divorced, he realises he’s only ever loved one woman. Charlotte Daniels claims she’s forgiven Troy. But can she trust him enough to take another chance on him and love?

Remember these are only free for the next couple of weeks and then they’ll be gone!
